The Eden Project
The ANU School of Art Environment Studio is intending to conduct a Field Studies program in 2011 from the Monaro Tableland escarpment to the Far South Coast, NSW. Titled The Eden Project, the program will focus on forest and ocean environments and will provide academic and logistic assistance to students from the School to seek inspiration for making fine art.
Two 7-day field trips are planned in early April and June for participating ANU artists. To help interpret and understand what they see, the artists are keen to consult with members of the local community. Artwork produced will be exhibited at the Bega Valley Regional Gallery in October.
